The Tafsir al-Tabari, Imam Moufassirin. This is certainly the most important and most famous Tafsir. Al-Nawawi said: "The community is unanimous about the fact that no one has written such a work in Tafsir al-Tabari" And as Suyuti said about Imam Ibn Jarir al-Tabari: "He wrote the most important and hugest Tafsir " It is also one of the first.

The methodology is the explanation of the meaning of the verses by other verses and hadiths, and also by the words of the Sahaba and Tabi'ins and then cites the view that prominent for him. A seminal work in its field and an absolute reference.
